Due to the needs, problems, and curiosity of some people an idea came into their minds. This people invented something that could help them in their daily lives. And those things is either an advantage or a disadvantage to people whose been using it.
Science and technology has improved our way of life for the better of mankind. It makes our life easy living and makes our daily life less stressful to accomplish works. We are more effective in doing some things. And our jobs are done faster than the usual. Medical advancements, computers and simple inventions such as the light bulb, medical research to find a cure for AIDS, modern health care and computers are beneficial in the role of improving peoples live. Science and technology will only continue to benefit society because there will always be new problems popping up over time.
If at one hand, science and technology has brought a lot of wonders for us then on the other hand, there are disadvantages of science and technology as well. First, science and technology has increased the anxiety in our lives. Second, when technology goes in the wrong hands then it can negatively impact the society such as the increasing rate of cyber crime, hacking, stealing of personal information and pornography websites. Third technology has suppressed our physical efforts and we are getting more luxurious and comfort living and make the people lazy. The economies which are behind in incorporating new technologies are considered poor economies and their progress in the world is hindered. Most of all technology polluted and damaged the environment, resources gets harvested much faster depleting environment at a increased pace.
In the end, science and technology is really a great help to everyone but should be used wisely and rightly.
